  • You inject Mounjaro under the skin (subcutaneously) in your stomach area, thigh or upper arm once a week using an injection pen. Don’t worry, it’s actually much easier than it sounds and if we prescribe Mounjaro for you, we’ll provide you with full instructions on how to use it.

    You must follow a strict dosage increase schedule as advised by us.

  • All your vital signs including weight, height, BMI and blood pressure will be checked at your consultation before treatment commences and these will be reviewed on a monthly basis to monitor progress.

  • Advice with regards to a healthy diet and exercise will be provided. We want to ensure that you can continue with a healthy lifestyle and habits.

  • To help your body adjust to the medication and maximize your chances of long-term success, it's important to follow the gradual dosage increase as directed.

    Typically, treatment begins with a starting dose of 2.5 mg of Mounjaro, which is increased every four weeks until you reach your target weight.

  • Mounjaro begins working in the body immediately, but it may take several weeks to see noticeable effects on your appetite. eating habits and weight.
